KR 인재개발원은 세계를 연결하는 철도 네트워크를 만들어나가는 KR의 지향점을 보여주는 공간이다. 랜드마크로서의 인지성을 확보하고 동해바다와 남산 사이에 위치한 대지의 환경을 반영하기 위해 해안가로 밀려드는 파도의 형상을 매스 형태에 적용하였다. 또한, 철도시설 공간의 아이덴티티를 실현하기 위해 속도감을 나타내는 입면을 계획하였고， 패턴의 연속성과 통일감올 부여하여 개방감 있는 입면 디자인올 구현하였다. 더불어 층마다 계획된 데크 및 오픈공간으로 자연채광 및 자연환기가 가능한 쾌적한 교육 환경을 조성하였다.

KR Training Institute is a space that shows KRs ambition to create a railroad network connecting the world. To secure awareness as a landmark and to reflect the environment of the land located between the East Sea and Namsan, the shape of the waves pushing to the shore was used for the mass. Moreover, to strengthen the spatial identity of railroad facility, an elevation design was employed so that a sense of speed was expressed and some degree of openness was allowed through the continuity and unity of the pattern. The decks and open spaces planned for each floor create a pleasant educational environment and enable natural light and natural ventilation.
