존중과 배려를 바탕으로 국가 간 관계의 지속적인 유지와 발전에 큰 역할을 하는 공관은 서로의 뜻올 전하고 인연올 맺는 곳이라 할 수 있다. 두 나라가 만나서 ‘정［情］’과 ‘연［緣］’을 맺는 이곳에 한국과 오만올 이어주는 하나의 매듭을 만들고자 하였다. 새롭게 지어지는 대한민국 공관은 전통 건축 요소인 한국적인 마당을 만들고 빛과 바람을 이용하여 내 ? 외부가 자연스럽게 소통할 수 있는 공간을 계획하였다.

A diplomatic office that plays a major role in the continuation and development of relations between nations based on respect and consideration can be said to be a place to communicate with each other and create a relationship. In this place where two countries meet and form fondness and relations, we aimed to create a tie linking Korea and Oman. For the Korean embassy to be newly built, we planned a Korean-style courtyard, which is a traditional building element, and a space where the interior and exterior can communicate naturally through light and wind.
