김해 중소기업 비즈니스센터의 설계 개념인 필링 테라스(WheelingTerrace)는 톱니바퀴가 서로 맞물려 돌아갈 때 생기는 에너지처럼 6,500여 개의 중소기업이 협력 관계를 형성하여 강력한 시너지 효과를 창출하고, 세계로 성장하는 이미지를 모티브로 하였다. 경사진 형태의 수직 창은 에너지 절감 효과가 우수한 친환경 디자인을 고려하였다. 중앙의 아트리움은 각 시설의 영역 분리 역할뿐만 아니라 자연 채광 및 환기를 통해 쾌적한 업무 환경을 가능하게 하여 ‘환경’과‘디자인’까지 고려한‘녹색 공간(Terrace)’을 창출하였다.

The motif of the Wheeling Terrace, which is the design concept of the Gimhae Business Support Center, is strong synergy created by 6,500 SMEs forming partnerships like the energy generated when gears mesh together, and the image of growing globally. An eco-friendly design with excellent energy saving effects was considered for the inclined vertical window. The central atrium not only divides the area of each facility, but also creates a green terrace1 that takes into consideration both environment and design by enabling a pleasant working environment through natural lighting and ventilation.
