구리 갈매지구의 새로운 랜드마크로 계획된 Penta PlexTower는 가로경관의 유니크함과 감성을 품은 인도어(indoor) 쇼핑몰이 더해져 경기 동북권의 중심상권으로 기대되는 프로젝트이다. 구리 갈매지구의 주변 상권 분석 결과，특색 있는 테마형 상가가 부재하고 잠재적 배후인구 수요가 7만 세대 정도였다. 이에 따라 주 7일 상권 형성을 위한 타깃을 분석하여 근로자와 인근 거주자가 함께 이용하는 상업시설 전략올 두었다. 쇼핑몰의 한계를 보완하면서 안전하게 이용 가능한 indo아 mall을 계획하고, 용적률에 포함되지 않는 아트리움을 구성하여 추가 면적을 확보하였다. 설계 의도에 따라 삶의 행복을 담고 기업의 가치를 쌓는 지식산업센터로의 자리매김을 기대한다.
The Penta Plex Tower project, planned as a new landmark for the Guri Galmae District, is expected to become the central business area of the Northeastern region ofGyeonggi-do with the addition of an indoor shopping mall with unique landscape and sensibility. An analysis of the surrounding commercial districts of the Guri Galmae District showed that there were no distinctively themed malls and that potential, untapped demand was about 70,000 households. So we analyzed potential commercial areas seven days a week, and set up a commercial facility strategy that workers and neighboring residents could use together. An indoor mall that could safely be used while making up for the limitations of a regular shopping mall was planned, and an additional area was secured by constructing an atrium not included in the floor area ratio. This mall is expected to become a knowledge industry center that contains the happiness of life and creates corporate value, according to its design intention.
