제주 김만덕 기념관
Jeju Kim Man-Deok Memorial Hall
노블레스 오블리주의 정신을，나눔을 통해 실천한 김만덕의 발자취를 기억하고 나눔을 체험할 수 있는 문화공간이다. ‘베풂을 나누는 곳’이라는 의미의 傳，施，館（‘전시관’）을 전체 컨셉으로 한다. 공간은 국내외 빈곤 퇴치 운동에 대한 교육시설，제주의 바다와 풍경을 담는 자연 친화적 공간，기부체험이 가능한 나눔의 장, 지역 주민과 함께하는 문화 커뮤니티 공간，전시공간으로 구성되었다. 외관은 제주도와 대지가 가지고 있는 자연경관 및 주변 컨텍스트의 이미지를 추출해 도시와 자연이 어우러질 수 있도록 디자인하였다.
It is a cultural space where one can remember the footsteps and experience the sharing of Kim Manduk who practiced the spirit of Noblesse Oblige through sharing. The general concept of the exhibition halls is "a place to share". The space consists of educational facilities for local and international campaigns to eradicate poverty, a nature-friendly space that captures the sea and landscape of Jeju Island, a place where one can experience donating, a cultural community space with local residents, and an exhibition space.
